West Surrey Riding Club Home. WSRC AGM Wednesday 8 November 2. Please join us for our Annual General Meeting at the Arbuthnot Hall in Shamley Green. There will be drinks and nibbles from 7 3. AGM starting at 8pm. This year the evening will also incorporate an interactive Equipilates demonstration from Human and Veterinary Physiotherapist Lottie Betchley. This short session will be targeted specifically to help optimise our posture and balance for equestrian pursuits. No experience or equipment required. The AGM is also an opportunity to look back on the events of the past year, award the Club prizes, celebrate the Clubs successes and gain input from Members to help set the direction of the Club for the next year. We are also looking for two new Members to join the Committee, one to co ordinate the Social non mounted events and one to act as a Team Manager for dressage, show jumping or horse trials. These are both fun and rewarding roles, often involving picnics and Prosecco Please feel free to approach any of the current Committee if you would like more information. Thank you to Lynn Roberts for kindly lending us your riding facilities for the event. It was lovely to see old friends and new members attending. September 2. 01. 7WSRC had a fantastic day in the sunshine at the Championships. It was lovely to see our 3 teams beautifully turned out, riding really well and most of all, smiling having lots of fun. To top the day off we received lots of rosettes as teams and individuals. The WSRC Horse Trials Team were placed 5th, the WSRC Riding Test Team came 6th place and the Dressage Team came 1. We ran a members and friends only combined training event at Whipley Manor by kind permission of Will Adrian Elliott and Lisa Fahy. Lisas horse sadly had an injury prior to this event and last minute swapped to Caitlins lovely horse Shaun. They did our club proud placing 7th in the Senior Dressage Championships.
